I quite enjoyed the experience here with my friends in the other days. We were having lunch, It was quite nice. The service there is decent. The price is really good also.

I tried Sweat and sour chicken (0/5) chowmein(0/5) and fried rice (1/5)
The worst sweet n sour chicken i have ever tried.The sauce was just like ketchup, with some purple color and lots of sugat in it
Chowmein was like jelly noodles with scraps of chicken.Fried rice was below avg. but better than those two other items -

A true Cape Breton legend, New Moon delivers fast, hot, cheap and delicious Chinese food. Delightfully dated, friendly service, cheap beers, and reliable delivery, it's always a great place for lunch or dinner.
*** Side story, my dad ate here once as a teenager, after a night out drinking, and then realized he did not have enough cash on hand to cover the bill. They cashed his cheque (St. Rita's Hospital, laundry department) and he has been a loyal customer ever since :) -

Complete scam. Their "curry beef" makes the 5min $7 Ingonish Ferry heaven for bargin hunters. Worst chinese food I've ever had.

Doing an update: my last trip in, quality was horrible. Rice was bland, sweet and sour chicken tasted like something you would pick up in the frozen food section at Sobeys. Sorry New Moon, you've lost me as a customer. What happened? Your food used to taste fresh.
